Ginseng vs Viagra online

Thursday, January 21st, 2010

As time goes by, man adopts new methods and discards with the old. Horses give way to cars and telegrams are replaced by the efficient email. Such has always been the nature of events. However, although this is the normal experience in the chronograph of man’s social life, it is not always the case.

Sometimes new things are developed which, despite their efficiency, fail to dislodge the old.

Such is the case between Viagra and Ginseng.

In the last 10 years, Viagra has become the drug of choice used for the treatment of men who suffer from erectile dysfunction. Produced by the pharmaceutical company Pfizer, it ushered the first tablet widely recognized as being an effective form of medication for men with impotency.

It is available in most countries with the presentation of a prescription. Individual tablets are sold in doses of 25mg, 50mg and a 100mg.

However, although medical professionals are convinced about the effectiveness of Viagra, there are many other people who do not agree that Viagra tablets are the only means of addressing erectile dysfunction.

Alongside the market for Viagra is one that sells medication that is based on a more herbal front. The sale of Ginseng.

Ginseng is derived from the Ginseng plant. It is found primarily in Asia and has been used by herbalists for hundreds of years. Alongside its many claimed benefits is one which suggests that the plant can be used as an aphrodisiac.

Many men today regularly make use of Ginseng for this very reason. Alongside its aphrodisiac claims, it has also been widely used in the past as medication amongst men who are suffering from erectile dysfunction symptoms.

Today, the use of Ginseng is still very prominent. Most ginseng herbs are sold as pills which contain the natural extracts. Common names by which they are marketed are Ginseng, Korean Ginseng and Herbal Viagra.

The last is a reference to insistence by many of the fact that Ginseng is just as effective as Viagra tablets without any of its recognized side effects.

The argument for the adoption of Ginseng as opposed to the use of Viagra tablets carries many important issues.

On one hand, Viagra is an internationally recognized, tested and proven means of addressing male impotence.

It is used by more than a hundred million men across the world and has a more than respectable 85% success rate.

On the other hand, many people swear on the effectiveness of Ginseng. With over a thousand years of recorded use, its use amongst Asians is very common.

A worrying compromise that is fast developing is the attempt done by many towards merging the effects of the two. Today, many of the tradition herbal Viagra products, which in the past used to only contain local herbs and derivates, are now also found to be laced with chemicals found in anti impotence tablets.

The danger that this poses to the unsuspecting user is great with many people standing the risks of developing cardiac conditions, ulcers, high blood pressure or metabolic disorders.

In the end, the decision of which sexual drug is best for you has to be decided by you. Both drugs are easily available on the internet. There are many online shops which sell local sexual herbs like Ginseng.

You can also choose to buy real Viagra pills online. Original Viagra tablets do not contain any local herbs; you should thus avoid any pharmacy or store that offers you Viagra along those sale lines.

Erectile Dysfunction (ED)

Wednesday, January 6th, 2010

Definition:

Erectile dysfunction (ED) is a type of male sexual dysfunction when a man is not able to achieve or maintain a firm erection required for satisfactory sexual intercourse.

ED can be classified into three types (depending on how hard it is to obtain or sustain an erection): mild, moderate, and severe. This condition is also known as male impotence.
Symptoms:

Erectile dysfunction is characterized by the frequent failure to get or maintain an erection.

It is normal for a man not to be able to get an erection in some occasions (for example, when being anxious or sad), but if it happens on a regular basis that may indicate having some degree of erectile dysfunction.
Causes:

A full erection requires a healthy nervous system (to properly transmit signals from the brain to the right parts of the body when sexual arousal occurs), and good blood circulation (since blood is what fills the body of the penis and make it erect and hard). And so, there are many different causes of ED, including:

* Physical causes: arterial disorders and blood diseases, brain and nerve disorders, hormonal disorders, heart disease, diabetes, surgery (prostate, bladder, colon, etc), accident and injury.
* Psychological causes: worry, stress, depression and grief. Men who lack confidence in their sexual ability may suffer from ED due to anxiety.
* Lifestyle: Smoking, drinking alcohol, taking drugs, lack of exercise and obesity all can result in impotence. Smoking is one of the lead causes of impotence since it damages blood vessels.

Treatment:

There are numerous conventional and alternative treatments for erectile dysfunction. Some of these treatments are clinically proven, while the effectiveness of other methods remains disputable. Treatment options include the following:

* Prescription medications: Using FDA-approved, oral anti-impotence drugs is the most effective and easiest way to deal with erectile dysfunction. Currently, there are three FDA-authorized drugs used to treat ED: Viagra (sildenafil citrate), Cialis (tadalafil), and Levitra (vardenafil HCl). These medications are only available with a prescription from a doctor, and may not be safe for everyone.
* Penis pumps (aka vacuum pumps): These devices are used to get a temporary erection. They work by creating vacuum around the penis, which forces more blood to flow into the penis and then you trap it using a rubber ring around the base of the penis. There are many disadvantages of this technique, including: it can be painful, it may cause injury, excessive “pumping” may burst your blood vessels and cause permanent damage, not convenient or practical for regular use, and they erection does not feel “natural”.
* Surgery: Surgical treatment may be required in case of severe ED, or when other options fail. The procedure involves implanting the penis with an inflatable device called “penile prosthesis”. The device contains a valve that can be used for inflating or deflating the device with a special fluid, and thus it creates or ends an erection on demand. Not so many people prefer surgery because it is risky and expensive.
* Herbal medicine: Natural and herbal supplements have been used for thousands of years to treat many different conditions and diseases. There are “tons” of “herbal” supplements that claim to be a “natural Viagra”, but the fact is, none of these supplements is clinically proven or medically approved to be effective in treating erectile dysfunction. Additionally, most herbal Viagra pills sold over the Internet are nothing more than scam/rip-off.

Facts:

* Erectile dysfunction is one of the most common sexual dysfunctions in men (Source: WHO).
* About 40% of men in their 40s experience some degree of erectile dysfunction (Source: WHO).
* Erectile dysfunction can affect men of all ages; young and old. While the numbers and percentages of ED patients are higher in older men, many young men all around the world still suffer from this condition.
* There is nothing to be embarrassed about if you have, or you think you have, ED. Just relax and pick the right time to discuss the issue with your physician and partner, and (hopefully) things will start to get simpler from there. The worst thing you can do about it is just sit down and do nothing.

Cutting Viagra Pills

Some pharmacies sell different doses of Viagra pills at the same rate. You can benefit from this and save lots of money on your Viagra purchases.

Most men use Viagra 50 mg because it gives them the best results, but some of them buy Viagra 100 mg instead and then cut the pills into two identical halves, each treated as a 50 mg dose.

You can try cutting high-dosage Viagra pills and see if it works for you. If you get satisfactory results, then you can start saving a lot of money on Viagra

To cut a Viagra pill effectively without crushing the pill you can use a custom made Viagra pill cutter/splitter (see the image below). These devices are not expensive (usually less than $10) and you may even get it for free when you purchase Viagra from some drugstores.
